Freedom, Freedom, yeah right
RATM!!! Watching their live videos is an amazing experience. Its definitely some of the most aggressive music ever written. I don't know what exactly gives their music that heavy as fuck sound, but its just pure thrashing madness. Put Zack's screams, Morello's trademark scratch-riffs, Tim's funky bass lines and Brad's drumwork in a blender. What you get is this mind blowing motherfucker called Rage Against the Machine. Those who have heard their music know what I'm talking about. Those who haven't, go fucking shoot yourself in the head.

Hell FUCKING Yeah!! I'm not one for jumping around or anything, but their music makes me just wanna jump and break stuff. so much energy, it's amazing... I've always maintained that good bands don't just make good records, they must be amazing live and these guys just blow your mind away... They have this intense nervous energy, esp. Zack. If you've seen him go all out during his earlier shows, in 92-94, it's almost scary as if he's just gonna collapse mid-scream... In later years, his voice was still as aggressive but it didn't have that edge...
RATM rule .. that video which i saw and obviously u saw is totally kick ass .. wat energy on stage :)
no dude, its personal choice . I dont love them either , i jus think they are good cuz they did some revolutionary stuff.. mostly protest songs, put in a metal way. Thts wat makes them special. Other than few songs, i'm not really into RATM either. But i dont might head banging to a good RATM song :)

So i have 2 (or shud i say 3) of their concerts...One is their last one at the Grand Olympic..and the other s the battle of Mexico city.
People I am telling u get the fucking dvd for Grand olympic. The concert and all is good ...correction...AMAZING. BUT the best part is the concert in the end where they protest outside a democratic convention. That is just too much. With the cops firing rubber bullets at the crowd and stuff..that concert is just something.
Also I might believe that these guys performed at woodstock or some other such major music festival. Fuck u have to see the crowd headbanging.
As Zach's mom introduces them at one place.. "they are the best band in the whole fucking universe" :) I met this dude who went to a festival..where he saw the chili peppers, ratm and zillions of other such bands that i love, admire and worship.
